Seller FAQ

Do I need a food license to sell on Bitehood?

Requirements vary by city and region. Before publishing a listing, every seller confirms they comply with applicable local food safety and licensing rules. We recommend checking your local cottage food laws.

How do payments work?

In this early version, buyers and sellers arrange payment directly through messaging. In-app payments are on our roadmap.

How much does it cost to sell?

Listing on Bitehood is free to start. A small commission will apply once in-app payments launch.

Can I offer delivery?

Yes β€” mark your listing as pickup, delivery, or both. Bitehood doesn't yet handle delivery logistics; sellers arrange it themselves.
